Bounty Scheme
Frequently Asked Questions
If I successfully refer someone, when will I get my payment?
If you are eligible for an employee referral bonus it will be paid once your referred candidate has successfully completed three months’ employment with the Firm. In order for you to receive payment the new employee can’t have given or received notice at this time. You will be required to provide your bank details in order for this to happen.
Please note! All payments made under this scheme are made gross and will be liable for UK tax at the marginal rate of the referrer. The referrer should declare receipt of the payment to HM Revenue & Customs in their annual tax return, the payment should be included as other taxable income in the Income section of the tax return. This declaration is the responsibility of the individual referrer.

Can I get an update on the status of my friend's application?
During the recruitment process, the recruitment team won't be able to update you on the status of your friend's application due to Data Protection legislation. The Recruitment Team will keep the candidate updated directly on the status of their application.

Can I just send my friend's CV to a relevant manager instead of getting them to apply online?
No. In order to be eligible for an Alumni Referral bonus your referral must be made through the online process or you must send an e-mail to the Alumni Team letting them know that you have referred a job to a contact. We cannot make Alumni referral payments if we are informed of the referral retrospectively.

I have a friend that I want to refer but there aren't any suitable jobs advertised online at the moment. What happens now?
They can log onto www.kpmg.co.uk/people and sign up to receive e-mail alerts when jobs relevant to them are posted on the site. If they decide to apply to a job that is then e-mailed to them, they will be asked for your email address as the referrer.

I want to refer someone who used to work at KPMG. Can I still claim a Bounty?
If the person you are referring hasn’t been working at, or for the Firm, in the last 12 months (including all KPMG offices worldwide), then you would be eligible. They would need to apply online.

Can I claim a Bounty for my own recruitment if I come back to work at KPMG?
