Alzheimer's Society
Every two years, KPMG people in the UK vote for the charity that they would like to raise money for as a firm.
After our award-winning partnership* with Help the Hospices, which raised over £1 million, KPMG people have voted to spend the next two years raising money for Alzheimer's Society.
How you can get involved.
* Help the Hospices and KPMG were recognised as the best corporate partnership in the Third Sector Excellence Awards, one of the most prestigious awards ceremonies in the voluntary sector calendar.
A message from Alzheimer's Society
By 2025 one million people in the UK will have dementia.
Alzheimer’s Society and our sister charity, Alzheimer Scotland, exist to champion the rights of people with dementia and those who care for them. Our vision is of a radically improved world for people with dementia. A world, ultimately, where dementia can be defeated.
Dementia is a set of symptoms caused when the brain is damaged by specific diseases or conditions. The most common is Alzheimer’s disease and there is currently no cure for dementia.
We fight for a better world for people with all types of dementia. Through our branches, we touch the lives of over 30,000 people every week, providing practical services and support for people with dementia and their carers.
And every year, more than a million people make use of the information we provide. But not everyone affected by dementia is receiving the support they need. And that’s where you come in.
KPMG is our biggest corporate supporter to date and together we are aiming to raise more than £800,000 in the next two years which will involve all UK offices in volunteering, fundraising, challenges and treks.
